NFS Most Wanted ( contd. ) , Kamal's suckerpunch !!

To sum up the last two days, what comes to my mind are these two topics only. NFS , coz its the game which i've played for more than 8 hours daily for the past 3 days ( the car's sound are still ringin' in my ears ) and Kamal, coz he screwed us BIG - TIME in MAS ( Multi Agent Systems, incase you dont know ).

We copied/showed a couple of assignments in the course.And he says the consequences are :

1. A grade will be reduced for everybody.
2. No TAships will be given to anyone of us forever at any given time in the college.
3. All the Honours programme's which come under Kamal's jurisdiction have to be dropped.
4. No more taking of projects under Kamal.

WTF ?? Is he crazy? Just because someone copies a couple of assignments in the course - we drop honours and no TAships ? And added to this, he says that he had made this decision some 2 months back. Now, he told us in the final MAS class that we would have some MAS weekends and do some case-studies etc. He also gave some M.Tech guy a project in the morning of the day , he gave us this shocking news. And in the evening when he told us abt this, he literally asked th e M.Tech guy to go screw himself. If he had decided abt this some 2 months back, why do all this crap ? I dont get it at all !!

One thing's for sure, I'm never again gonna take a course under Kamal. The saddest part is that iv, manish and monga have done a lot of work and Kamal says " I already made my decision". What a load of crap !! Anyway, we're going to meet him on Friday evening ( hopefully) , lets see what's going to happen. Hope that he reconsiders his decision.

Till then, cya ... and btw .. yay !! Saurav Ganguly is in the test squad. Hope they take him into the one-day squad as well. I'm a die-hard fan of him .. :)

Need For Speed Most Wanted , Cognitive Term paper etc ..

First day classes of a new semester. It started off with P.T. in the morning again after a semester break. I injured my knee in the Agni Football match, and had no exercise since then, and when I went to the doctor ( not the IIIT one :) ) , he had asked me to jog daily - hence P.T. in the morning to help for abt 1-2 months. It was nice getting up early again.

Software Engineering - what is the moral of the story ? WTF ? bloody fucked up dragon slayers. Dumb-fuck , it seems dragons can speak, and bulla whatever. They have rights and stuff. What and ulti-stupid VV is ... I hope we have more interesting stories, not of this kind though.

Came back from that class and started copying NFS Most Wanted mdf files. Having created space, by removing F.E.A.R mdf file and other movies, I installed NFS. Then started NFS MW at around 2.30 p.m. in the afternoon. I played for 2 hours by when I completed about 6%.

Then, I realised that it was time for the Intro to Cognitive Science Term Paper. It had to be submitted. I wrote about 3 pages in close to 45 minutes. The topic was nice - QUAKE 3 BOT PERCEPTION AND ANALYSIS - so could write some arbit stuff about quake and finally went to server room to get printout. After that, it was NFS time again. 6.30 - 11.30 with about 1 hour break, I finished 25% of the game now. Awesome car going at 180 miles per hour with the breathtaking blur effect and cops chasing you like a street dog - oh boy! thats NFS Most Wanted. I hope to finish this game by Thursday night. I hope I do. Till now, as far as I know, only Monga is ahead of me - he finished 32 % after playing 6 hrs consecutively in the lab...

Day at home ... :)

I went home yesterday after a long time, it was nice to see everybody ... met a few cousins and slept well. Today's morning was ok .. like it was the same stuff which i do whenever i'm at home; normal ablutions followed by reading of newspaper etc ...
It was when I put on the TV ,it got a bit more interesting. Being a die-hard fan of West Indies Cricket, I was feelin' nice and comfortable by the Windies fightback. Bravo and Ramdin were playing really well. It was a nice day for Windies. Then followed EPL highlights of yesterday's Chelsea vs Newcastle match, although it was a 3-0 victory for Chelsea. I seriously felt that Newcastle should have got atleast 2 penalties in the first half. They played superbly, Chelsea was dumb-struck by the football. Terry fouled someone ( i dont seem to recollect his name) and some chelsea defender handballed later (inside the box, ofcourse). And they were without Owen and Shearer. I thought Newcastle wid win easily. But SHIT HAPPENED !! :(
Afternoon, I had some nice home lunch ( felt better ). Then watched FRIENDS for sometime before I too felt asleep like others at home. Evening was fun .. with Pakistan vs England cricket- Afridi was going all guns blazing - boy , wasnt he a treat to watch. Then, we went out and had dinner and i was dropped back to the hostel, to hear the sweet news that TOC got postponed to Wednesday and Saturday resp. from Tuesday and Friday. Yay again! no TOC and SE clash in the timetable ...

TOC , SE etc ... and other stuff

yay ! TOC is on Wednesday and SE on Tuesday next semester ... I went to Appaji to talk abt this today morning , initially he said tht there wasnt any possibility of changing .. but later , when I asked him whether he wid change if the profs agree . He agreed. Nice start (gg to myself ) . I went to VV to ask abt SE , he said okay to Monday and Thursday 10-11.30 slot ... but SHIT ALWAYS HAPPENS !! Bastard Mtech Ist years have the DBMS course on the same Monday, Thursday slot. They also have the SE course. So , I went to Kannan after 1 hr of waitin' for him. He agreed. I went to Appaji and told him the same. He too agreed. Yahoooooo ... TOC timings are 8.30-10.00 on Wednesday and Saturday. SE timings remain the same though :( ... i wid have preferred the Monday, Thursday slots ... But anyway, Yay ! some tutor frm the same batch .. hopefully i dont have to do any assignments ..

Poor Rao ! (its vishu rao .. i mean) apparently , NFS Most Wanted isnt working coz thts wht his status mesg in yahoo says so ..

aah !! finally back to bloggin' ...

its been a long long long time since i've blogged last time. A lot of ppl have asked me wht happened to my blog , well ... i actually forgot my username ( though i rmr my passwd :) ) . Yesterday night was devoted to MAS - final exam ... had to submit a report abt some AAMAS-2005 paper... crap paper in which kamal gave wrong questions and stuff. As iv put it , mas - MAS Absolutely Sucks .

I've been long looking for the game -NFS Most wanted. I hope its out fast , chaos said it wid be out in 3 hrs ... tht was yesterday night ... i'm still waitin' . And FUCK! FYP's(Final Year Project) from next sem ... its gonna be a screwing 3rd yr 2nd sem and 4th yr 1st sem , and it seems that our ambitions of CAT etc .. are gonna be screwed.

Heck! now i've got to write the term paper for the Introduction to Cognitive Science - A nice course wid no mids and endsem. btw... there is FOSS( http://foss.in/2005/ ) frm nov 29th to dec 2nd in B'lore ... plannin' to go. Hope to continue blogging ...

The last couple of days ...

Hmm ... GTA SA is out , I finished downloading it and when I wanted to play it , my win got screwed - 4 blue screens of death and 3 restarts while playing it :( , it said something about new drivers installed and they were affected etc ... My sound got screwed later on in the day , donno what happened but whenever I played a movie or a song , BAD Sound driver Detected ... need to f***** re-install :-& .Came up with a decision to re-install win ,troubles still continue - bushi has all my cds - mbcd , graphics cd and d-link - and he went home , I called him up only to find out that he isn't feeling well , will take another 3/4 days to come back :((. Wow what a 3 days I had so far ... Now have to search for some other guy who has these cds ... WILL BE BACK!!!

Its been a boring day today , starting at 6.30 am in the morning!!! I was forced to do that at home, since my brother is in his 12th class .I had to set an example for him and hence I had to get up early in the morning although I had no work as such.What crap man!!!
The only thing that actually caught my attention was the theft of cell-phones, probably the 3rd in 3 weeks.Poor monto, lost his cellphone .. feelin' sorry for him.I have to start the project asap and try to go for a project meeting , feelin' pissed off after a lovely vacation.Its been a sickening day after all, extremely boring and added to that , I am not in a mood to play any type of computer games whatsoever.Now thats what I call life at its worst!!
